This week Sweet Thymes took the night off from designing and attended the District Bliss Vendor Social + Catalyst Wedding Co. Mag Launch. This vendor social was hosted at Washington, DC's trendiest event venue, the Loft at 600 F, the industrial and rustic loft was transformed into a delightful party featuring some of the best wedding vendors DC has to offer.
We munched on tea sandwiches, our favorite being the ham and cheese biscuit, and sipped on refreshing cucumber lemon seltzer by Gundalow Juice. The event was a breath of spring and signaled the beginning of wedding season. Smooth tunes filled the room with a live singer and guitarist as we sipped Colombian coffee from Qualia Coffee located on Georgia Avenue.
We even took home a few mementos from the night. A dainty vanilla candle that smells divine and photos from the photo booth by Just Smile. We've never met anyone that isn't drawn to a photo booth -- including ourselves! With new found friends, made funny faces, silly poses and most of all brought these memories home.
We love meeting fellow wedding vendors, here are a few new friends we made and enjoyed hearing about their business and how they became apart of the events industry.
