Recipe: Stuffed Mushrooms


Every family has recipes passed down for generations. There is a long line of passionate cooks in the Smaby household, which means books full of family recipes. One of our go to recipes for cocktail hours and pretty much any type of party is Grandma's Stuffed Mushroom recipe, simple, easy, and oh so tasty.



24 Large white button Mushrooms
2 green onions
1/3 Cup fresh bread crumbs
1/2 Cup grated Cheddar Cheese
1/2 Tsp. Garlic Salt
1/2 Tsp. Lawry's Seasoning
1/2 Tsp. Pinch of Herbs
1/2 Tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 Cup Butter

Heat oven to 350 degrees. Wash and remove stems from mushrooms. Dice green onions. Melt butter.  In a food processor add mushroom stems and all other ingredients, pulse until mixed. Stuff mushroom caps with mixture, about one heaping teaspoon each. Bake for 15 minutes. Enjoy!
