I opened a small garden center business at 21 and started designing weddings in 2006, now I design wedding florals, grow flowers, design and maintain gardens full time.
How would you describe your floral design style?
Simple, lush botanical designs.
What type of flowers do you recommend for fall weddings?
Dahlia, berries, pods foliage's, orchids, ranunculus, and fruit.
There are so many types of flowers, as a bride how do you narrow it down and incorporate your wedding colors?
I like to choose two large lush blooms in the colors pallet you wish and add fillers flowers, berries and foliage's in complimentary colors to make it unique.
What can a DIY bride incorporate into their floral arrangements to make them unique? Textures, use things you can find in your yard or locally easily based on the season. Like grass blooms, wildflowers, foliages of shrubs, trees and perennials.
